Where can we eat cake and open presents?
At The Colony Park we have two picnic tables that you are welcome to use after you play. You can stay there until the next party ends.
At The Trophy Club park there is a pavillion that can be used for an eating area as long as it has not been reserved by someone else. If you wish to reserve it you can do that at an extra cost from Trophy Club Parks and Rec.
What do I need to bring?
Bring your players or have them meet you at the fields. Make sure each player that you are bringing has a signed Waiver Form from our Downloads page. We will have extra ones at the field but if you have underage players then you will have to sign for them to play unless you have their parents sign the form before you leave home.
Bring food and drinks. We do not have any concessions. You will need to bring any water, snacks or party food that you want to serve. It is suggested that you hydrate your players as if they are playing a 2 hour soccer game.
If there has been recent rain then a great thing to bring are plastic grocery bags to put shoes in after playing for the ride home.
A Sharpie marker to put names on drinks is always a good idea.
What are the ages that can play?
Ideally, players should be at least 6 years old or older. If you have players younger than 6 then they must be accompanied on the field at all times by an adult. It is a safety issue for us because our fields have creeks and ponds on them.
Can parents and grandparents see the players while they are playing?
Yes, parents are always welcome to come and sit to watch or even walk in the fields and take pictures. We do not charge for people who are just watching.
Do I need to wear special clothing?
Yes and no. At the parks you MUST wear closed toed shoes in order to play. We are in the woods so closed toed shoes keep your feet safe. You can wear safety glasses if you want to protect your eyes from low branches but they are not required. Long pants and long sleeved shirts also help to keep from getting scratched by low branches if you go off-trail, but are not required.
How safe is it to play?
Outdoor Lasertag is a non-contact sport. You are not allowed to get within 5 feet of other players or have any physical contact between players. No behavior is allowed that could cause injury to anyone. Players must obey the attendant at all times. No real weapons are allowed on the fields. No illegal substances or drugs are allowed on the premises. No alcohol is allowed on the premises. The guns do not shoot any type of projectile.
How can I pay?
We take cash, checks and credit cards. Since we are mobile there may be times when credit card service may not be available. Please come prepared to pay with cash or check also.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Because the equipment is electronic we cannot play in the rain. We understand that families are busy and that though you would love to rescedule sometimes it is just not possible. That is why we do not take deposits. Payment is due on the day of the party so if the weather is bad you are not obligated to do your party with us. However, we would love it if you would reschedule and we will try to accomodate you with options for alternate dates.
What kind of games do you play?
Our games can run anywhere from 5-20 minutes depending on the type of game we are playing. The type of games we play depend on the age of the players and the size of the party. We start with a Free For All game so that the players can get used to using the guns. We also play Team Death Match, Squadrons, Capture The Flag and Downed Pilot. We can play scenarios that you would typically see in Call of Duty, Battlefield and other type first person shooter type game.
